AluK systems chosen for prestigious Bulgari Resort & Residences project

Dubai developer Meraas has teamed up with Rome-based jeweller and perfume maker Bulgari to launch Bulgari Residences Dubai as part of the 1.7 million sq ft Bulgari Resort and Residences that is taking shape on the Jumeira Bay Island.

The luxury property will be the world's fifth Bulgari Hotels and Resorts property. The joint venture residential project, comprising 165 apartments, eight penthouses and 15 mansions, includes landscaped private gardens swimming pools and gyms, with a variety of dining and sporting options on-site, like the 50 berths Marina and Bulgari Yacht Club, according to Meraas.

Apartments will range from one to four bedroom units in six free-standing buildings, while mansions will come with three to six bedrooms. The master development, Bulgari Resort and Residences Dubai, is scheduled for completion in 2017.

Entirely designed by the Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, Bulgari Residences Dubai will be the first-of-its-kind master development in scale and magnitude, offering efficient living spaces with the brand’s signature style evident in every detail — whether inside the home, in the common areas or within the wider community.

For this prestigious project, a variety of AluK’s aluminium building systems have been specified, including the 77IS window, 67ID door, SC170 sliding door, and SG50 and SL50 curtain walling systems.
