The Al Abdulkarim Holding Tower is a prominent commercial development in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, rising 150 meters across 40 floors. Designed by Dewan Architects & Engineers, the building serves as the headquarters for Al Abdulkarim Holding and reflects a contemporary architectural approach that balances solidity and transparency.
The tower’s design plays with contrasting elements—straight and inclined lines, solid volumes and glazed surfaces—to create a dynamic visual identity. A distinct glass section defines the transition between leasable office spaces and the client’s dedicated floors, while the overall façade composition delivers varied and flexible office environments across levels.
For this project, AluK supplied a unitised curtain wall solution forming the primary building envelope. The façade integrates glazed elements with aluminium composite cladding, contributing to both the architectural expression and overall building performance.
The selected system supports:
Efficient installation for high-rise applications
Strong thermal and weather performance
Consistent quality through factory-fabricated units
This approach enabled a streamlined construction process while meeting the technical and aesthetic requirements of a complex commercial tower.
