The Pyramid Continental Hotel is a major hospitality development in Lusaka, Zambia, representing a significant addition to the country’s growing tourism and commercial sector. Once completed, the luxury five-star hotel will offer a comprehensive range of amenities, including guest rooms, executive suites, conference facilities, leisure spaces, and entertainment areas. The development is designed to accommodate both business and leisure visitors, contributing to the city’s expanding hospitality offering.
For this project, AluK’s SG50 curtain wall system was selected to deliver a modern, structurally glazed façade. The system provides a sleek, frameless external appearance while supporting the performance requirements expected of a high-end hospitality development. Its design flexibility allows for large glazed surfaces that enhance natural light and create a strong architectural identity.
The façade solution contributes to both the visual impact and functional performance of the building, aligning with the project’s ambition to deliver a high-quality, contemporary hotel environment.
